What Does a County Recorder Do?
A County Recorder maintains and preserves public records related to property and land ownership, ensuring they are accurate and accessible. They assist the public with locating property parcels and records, record and certify military discharge documents, and provide copies of documents and plats, including certified copies for official use statewide. Their role supports transparency and facilitates property transactions within the community.

Property Watch
Signing up for Utah County Property Watch will enable you to keep track of any recorded changes to a property. The Utah County Recorder's Office will send you an email, alerting you to any recorded documents (i.e. Liens, Deeds, etc.) Your contact information will not be distributed and will only be used to communicate Property Watch information.

County Recorder - Andrea Allen
Andrea Allen has worked in various capacities during her tenure with Utah County over the last 41 years, most recently serving as the County Recorder since January 2021. She is currently the Chair of the Utah Association of County Recorders Standards Committee and the past Co-Chair for PRIA – Local Utah from 2022-2023.
